Following residency, Dr. Westafer completed a fellowship in glaucoma surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, training in advanced techniques for diagnosing and treating glaucoma. He has practiced in Northern Nevada since 2017 and has completed thousands of cataract and glaucoma surgeries in that time. He has served as Counselor for Nevada with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and completed its Leadership Development Program. Outside of practice, he enjoys time with his family and Northern Nevada’s outdoor activities.
